Carbon Management Program

NAEM has created a Carbon Management Program to assist clean-tech project developers in navigating the complexities of confirming their projects meet the required technical, regulatory, and legal eligibility to generate carbon credits for both the compliance or voluntary emission reduction markets, and are financially viable.

NAEM, and its trusted network of experienced and accredited subject matter experts, can assist clean-tech project developers with generating high-quality carbon credits and carbon removal credits by:

Reviewing currently approved emission reduction protocols and methodologies to confirm eligibility to create carbon credits and carbon removal credits.

Ensuring proper measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) processes are in place to cover the project’s entire life cycle of data collection, quantification, verification, and serialization.

Evaluating data management systems and advising on instrumentation, monitoring and quantification process design to ensure they meet third-party verifier requirements.

Interfacing with the project developer, their customers, and the project facility representative to monitor and ensure project’s compliance with the Carbon Management Program.

Registering new emission reduction projects and managing the market protocol administration and carbon registries (or other market protocol administrators) to address all project registration requirements.

Quantifying the GHG emission reductions from the collected data and data preparation for verification.

Managing the RFP process for contracting an independent verifier for the emission reduction verification process.

Assist with registering and serializing the carbon credits and carbon removal credits (as applicable) with reputable registries that provide a unique and trackable record from their creation to retirement.
